I didn't know what to expect of this ship, as it had mixed reviews. I found the ship a little dated, but clean and adequate.
The average age of the passengers was about 70+. There was no activity in the night clubs at night.
We went for the fall colors, and unfortunately, didn't get any. The weather has been warm this year, and the trees are changing later than normal. The ports we stopped at were small and not much to see. They were old shipping port. If you haven't booked an excursion through the ship, you can book one once you dock. They have Gray Line Tours (pink buses) that are hop on and hop off. You can charge them to your stateroom. The worst tour we took was in Boston. We took a narrated Freedom Trail walk. You couldn't hear the tour guide, as he didn't have a microphone and there was so much traffic noise and other tours going on.
We had a Starboard balcony stateroom and it had more than enough closet and drawer space for two persons. The bathroom was normal size and had great hot water in the shower. The common areas were also clean. We saw the crew working every day, varnishing wood, cleaning, etc. I did not see any dirt, rips in the carpet, etc. that were mentioned in previous reviews.
Toured the new Freedom Tower. Excellent views and worth the $$. Had lunch in their restaurant which was very $$ ($109 for two salads and cocktails, including tip). It was well worth the money, as we probably won't get there again and enjoyed it.
