This was my 7th cruise and my husband and I knew what we were getting into prior to traveling. We only selected this ship because A) price and B) it was the most convenient way to see the places we wanted to see in Europe without changing hotels every day. From the beginning they try to push the drink package on you. We did not do it because we knew as Americans we would get free bottled water with dinner and chose to drink when we wanted and where we wanted to, and not feel as if we needed to drink the entire time.

Rooms are small, is to be expected. I got in a fight with the shower curtain on a daily basis. The food is alright, dinner takes over two hours and most nights we weren't done until 11:30 (23:30) which is WAY too late in my book to finish dinner.

Things I cannot look past:

Port Reviews

Palma de Mallorca (Majorca)

Picks you up right at the cruise port, okay way to see the city.

Taormina (Messina)

We walked from the cruise port to the train station and took a train. Once you get to the train station Giardini-Naxos, you can take a bus to the top of Taormina. Most cost effective way to see Taormina and you will have the most time there doing it this way!

La Spezia (Cinque Terre)

We took a cab from the port to the train station and took the 5-Terre train. The line at the train station was very long, and the trains themselves are way past capacity. It is very dangerous and scary! We were also left behind for an hour because the train was way too full.
