This is only our second cruise so our review should bear that in mind.
We choose this cruise as it fitted in date wise & was relatively inexpensive. We flew from Gatwick on the Sunday morning & the flight was on time & found the MSC rep at Genoa airport & were very soon on our way to the ship.
Embarkation - our first impression was that this would prove to take a while & be rather disorganised, however within 30 minutes we were on board. Goes to show that you shouldn't go on first impressions! Within about an hour or so of boarding our luggage was delivered to our cabin. So far, so good.
Lots of room with a decent wet room & balcony. View is slightly restricted when looking down due to life boats.
Go up to the old town via the lift & walk through the old streets. Plenty of cafes & friendly people.
The ships docks right at the town centre. Worth going to the Duma which is only a few minutes walk.
Nice marina with restaurants which for the south of France aren't too pricey. Some good shops but not a lot else to see & do.
