This was my fourth Carnival cruise. The cruise stated off bad with my husbands ipad getting stolen from the luggage that we handed to the porters. It was missing once it reached our cabin. The boat is really showing signs of wear and tear. The seats in the lobby, sports bar, lounges are very uncomfortable. We did not have hot water 3 times that we took showers before dinner. The layout of this class ship is confusing. You can not go from front to back on levels 3 and 4, you have to go up to another level then down. This is the first time we had a cabin on the lido deck. We loved the location. Our excursion with Carnival was cancelled after we waited for over 2 hours, so we feel like we missed most of our day at Grand Turk. I do not really care for the new room service menu. It is missing some of my favorites and now you have an option to pay for others. The lunch options are great, loved Guys burgers and Blue iguana tacos/burritos, and the fish and chips. I like the old dining room menus better, but always found something to eat.The brunch menu is fantastic. The buffet was not very good. The cruise director, Hugo was a lot of fun, and was everywhere on the boat. The staff are truly amazing. Our room steward, Agus was probably the best we have had. Our waiters, Diego, Eduard, and Yonathan were great. Nikola, in the blue bar was my husbands favorite. He loved the cigar bar. Our bar wait staff Job and Paramita were also exceptional. The shows were good, we loved Epic rock. There was a variety of comedians on board, one, Pat Godwin was very good. The ports were great. Half moon cay is truly paradise, and our new favorite port. Disembarkation was quick. We did self assist and were off the boat by 7:45, and on our SAS shuttle.

Great location. It is close to everything. We loved coming back from excursions, and being right by the food to grab a quick bite to eat. There was a little noise from the band in the lobby at night, but very minimal, and the band doesn't usually play past 10pm.

Port Reviews

San Juan

We took the free trolley and visited the forts.

St. Thomas

We took a cab to Coki beach. We brought our own snorkeling masks, and saw a lot of fish. Very nice beach, but crowded.
