Britannia Cruise

Review for the Western Mediterranean Cruise on Britannia

We have been on a cruise once before a few years ago with Thomson, but this time went with my inlaws who wanted to do a big cruise hence we used P&O on the Brittania. The cabins are a little on the small size but well laid out and well furnished. Our cabin had a hair dryer as well as tea making facilities which where replenished constantly, also flat screen tv with a good selection of movies some pay ones and some free ones.

Dining well we ate in one of the restaurants (the Meridian) on board and it was brilliant, every evening there was a good selection of food which was served excellently by the staff in the restaurant. Each evening there would be on the menu a recommendation from the chef, which I tried often and enjoyed immensely. The ship also has a buffet restaurant which you can use for the evening meal and throughout the day for breakfast and lunch (which is what we did) you could if you wanted to have breakfast in the main restaurants if you wanted to, in the evening part of the buffet restaurant becomes a restaurant called the beach something hut/club something along those lines and it is brilliant seriously try it out some of the meals have a small surcharge but most of the menu comes under the full board package and it is really really great.

The standard of entertainment was what you would expect for a ship from this kind of stock.
