The Viking Star is a BEAUTIFUL ship and everything about our cruise from our spacious cabin, the service, the staff, the restaurants and the food to the amazing excursions, was simply THE BEST! We were never disappointed (the Rome excursion was a LONG day) but all our other excursions were perfect - we feel fortunate that we made the right choices for our interests, as there were many to choose from. The trips to the small towns and countryside farm were especially memorable, and our guides were all knowledgeable and entertaining. We had fun!! And at this point in our lives, what could be better?
