. Loved the Dawn and its crew. Stateroom w/veranda was fine . . . a bit cramped; but the luggage fit under the bed. Great bed. Great steward. Didn't realize at the booking that this was a back-to-back cruise with passengers embarking and disembarking every 7 days. Probably wouldn't do that again. Same entertainment in week 2 as in week 1. Even the menu seemed pretty much the same. If it's Tuesday it's rice and beans, so to speak. Used to seeing carved fruits and vegetable displays . . . no show. Kudos to the chocolate carvings.

Very efficient ship-to-shore transportation. Itinerary was good. Of course the excursions are 10 min. photo stops, 20 min. loo stops, and 30-60 minute attraction stops . . . so one can say one was there, but . . . . it is what it is. If you don't like it, stay at home. Cannot say enough for the entertainment. The dance company was very energetic and fast paced with reasonably good show content, Patti and Jose are just great entertainers , David DaVinci put on a spectacular illusion show, the aerialists were spectacular . . . but Best of Show goes to the bluegrass quartet from Colorado, Meadow Mountain; called by NCL on very short notice to replace a 1 month cancellation of another group. My wife and I just loved their style and entertainment quality and the obvious joy they had entertaining. Kudo, guys! Sadly, no colored foliage . . . yet. The total atmosphere on the ship was very positive and relaxing. NCL is very, very handicapped friendly. Good sailin' on calm seas, everybody. One note . . . there needs to be self-service laundry facilities on every deck. Forget the expensive valet service.

Cabin BC

Rene', our steward, was just a very friendly and outgoing man. Loved his towel sculptures. The cabin was perfectly clean at all times. Only negative was the exceptionally small toilet space. Anybody over 200 lbs. is going to be squeezed. Shower space is great . . . maybe too big for a cruise ship. Very comfortable bed. A clothes steamer would be nice in each stateroom. Don't need the bar.

Gaspe

I've always wanted to see Perce Rock and I'm glad I did; but there's nothing in the town of Perce of much interest. A scenic bus ride.
