I just got back from a 8 day cruise to Bermuda on NCL Breakaway. I sailed twice before on Royal Caribbean and wanted to try a different cruise line to compare, and I liked the three days in Bermuda itinerary.

Overall I liked the cruise a lot, but I am not convinced that NCL is for me. The ship is new, clean, very good food, but it did not impress me or wow me as Royal has in the past. This was my first time on a big ship, my other cruises were small ships, more intimate, so that may have something to do with it. Would I recommend it, yes.

I had a balcony cabin, 9846, which was nicely sized.

Balcony Stateroom

Cabin BC

Good space, largest showers I ever had; I am 5'10" at 270 lbs. Best bathroom layout I have seen so far as well.

There is a lot of storage. Luggage goes under bed, storage under couch, storage in tables, desk, etc.

The balcony is very small, fits two chairs and a miniature table.

Flat screen TV.
