River Royale – Uniworld Bordeaux River Cruise

Just completed our first cruise with Uniworld, a week long river cruise that can only be described as a truly magnificent experience. The entire cruise from end to end was nothing less than sensational. The daily itinerary including scheduled day excursions to the most interesting places and were well planned, informative and all-round very pleasurable, in particular the visits to the chateau informative wine talks and tastings. The entire ship’s crew were, extremely friendly, welcoming and attentive meeting your every need in the most pleasant manner. No request was too much and they all carried out their functions in the most professional manner.

Every meal offered a wide range of choices and well presented. Every evening meal (food and wine) were gastronomic experiences. The leisurely atmosphere and organization was unlike any of the other five river cruises we have experienced to date with other river cruise company’s. We loved the relaxed style, no hurrying, laid back approach and no name tags. It was the little things that made this cruise so pleasurable, The Cruise Director Piet was fabulous he just handled every issue with complete ease second guessing people’s needs and wants. Uniworld have certainly set a benchmark with us and we look forward to another experience with them they really know the meaning of value add.
