We decided to do a friends and family group cruise for August 2015. We planned this trip about 1.5 years in advance. My wife said we loved the Haven Suite the last time we sailed Norwegian on the Pearl in Alaska, let's do the Breakaway in the Haven, too. I have to say the cabin, was very nice. We had cabin 11908, Aft Penthouse Suite with large balcony. It had a living room, with dining area, separate bedroom, 2 bathrooms, and an amazing huge balcony.

The ship was 100% sold out and it totally felt it. There were people everywhere. The pools are not big enough to accommodate a full ship. People were out at 5 AM to get lounge chairs on the deck. The kids pool was so crowded there was almost no place to stand. I truly felt like I was back in College on Spring break, that's how crowded it felt.

Since NCL started giving away the beverage package for free, you literally had to wait hours for drinks. Even when a waiter would come by our lounge chairs she said she would bring 2 drinks because it took that long for her to come back.

Cabin Review

The Haven Aft-Facing Penthouse with Balcony

Cabin H6

The cabin was spacious and very nicely arranged and decorated. The Balcony was huge and that was a great selling feature. Most balconies on the ship are small, even in the haven. Only the Owner's Suites, Dlx Owner's Suite, and the Aft Balconies have anything larger than standard balconies.
