If you are planning to go on the Liberty, I think its a great choice. Nicely kept ship, great response from all of the crew I encountered.

The change in menu isn't my favorite, but I am very fussy. The food was good. It could have been served hotter. The burgers are like 5 guys, the pizza good, the buffet something for everyone. The dining rooms are where I wasn't 100% satisfied, but it doesn't mean it was bad.

We always let Carnival book the air. DON'T LET CARNIVAL BOOK THE AIR. We were booked on Delta, connecting flights. Just knowing it's Delat was an issue. For a 5 hour trip, we were in the air and in airports over 12 hours. Worse than that was widespread luggage damage (travelling as a group of 12). I am having to throw out 3 pcs of 3 years old American Tourister (not low end) for torn off wheels, tears and frame damage. In NY at JFK we saw luggage being thrown out of the hold missing the conveyor completely. 7 of the 12 had severe luggage damage. To add insult to injury we were charged for baggage from the first bag.
