This was our first Hurtigruten cruise (from Svoelvar to Bergen) after having taken seven other cruises globally on other cruise lines. This was a very disappointing cruise. We appreciated the newer ship and some beautiful remote locations but this cruise compares very poorly to other cruises. Only breakfast was included (no lunch or dinner), very few lecture/activities on the ship, little narration of what we were seeing on the Norwegian coastline, terrain was fairly nondescript and service was just average.

We would only recommend this cruise for people who are very anxious to see northern Norway's coastline with the little/no expectation for great cuisine, activities or lectures/education. Very different from a traditional cruise line in a negative way.
