Sail Date: Sep 2015

I have well over 40 cruises on my list, from most major lines. I have seen the good, the bad and the deplorable. This cruise was below deplorable. Embark was just fine, smooth and without incident. The cabin was clean and fresh, somewhat worn but not disgusting. Food was plentiful, digestible and filling. Red Sail is not worth the lines and the rude passengers who cut lines. I am sure the one guy will remember my promise to break his arm if he tried his cutting again. The shows were excellent so long as the Cruise Director did not show up. Staff was overall competent, happy and pleasant. Peter in the Dining Room and Job on bar staff are exceptional.

The boat is old, the activities are minimal and poorly run. Then they botched the debark and over 4/5 hours of waiting did not get us off this boat till after 11 am. Out of cabin by 7:30 am and the Red Sail was shut down by 10. Minimal communication but we later found out from Immigration that the leader of the Debark, some new guy, really botched the whole thing and possible fines were being assessed to Carnival.
