Very disappointed in NCL…I was on Vacation to get away from City noise and hustle bustle. To no avail, while in the most beautiful part of the world…Glacier Bay, in Alaska, NCL had construction going on around the pool or something. I was trying to enjoy the scenery and peaceful sounds of the glaciers. But, with all the drilling and hammering going on the entire time, it was just spoiled. I took a trip to get away from that kind of noise. What were they thinking? Was that the only time the repair work on the ship could be done? Very poor judgement. Very disappointed.
Paid a lot to go see Alaska and every port seemed to be at the seasons end. Everything we wanted to do in Victoria was closed. The ports/excursions were a waste of time and money.
Spa-Very Poor Service. Lockers would not work. I only used my pass one day as a result. Also, no attending help in the locker rooms. No shoes to wear and I almost fell a couple of times. I hated going barefoot. Wheel Chairs were stacked along the showers too. It just seemed that everything was unattended.

Mid-Ship Mini-Suite with Balcony
Room worn and tattered. Fabrics on sofa etc faded and worn. TV too small. Bed was worn out too. I felt like I was in a hammock. Center of bed sagged.
Came back to my room one day and my door was wide open with no one attending our room. Very upset, neighbors said the door had been open for more than hour or so. He cleaned the room but just left the door wide open and left. I trusted the person cleaning our room to be responsible. He left the room and forgot to close our door. Absolutely, upsetting to me and my husband. Even though we did accept his apology, we did not trust him.
