My husband and I sailed for the first time on RCCL. We sailed on Liberty of the Seas out of Bayonne NJ to Canada and New England 9/10-9/19. We have sailed with Princess, Norwegian, Disney and Celebrity.

Embarkation - Easy drive from northeast PA. Got to Cape Liberty around 10:30 am. Dropped off luggage, parked, checked in and on board ship by 11:30am. Quick and easy! When you check in you are given a number for boarding. They are called in order. There is an area for you to sit and wait for your number. Tip: get there early if you can. If you get there too early there is a Dunkin Donuts in the mall by Cape Liberty you can have breakfast.

Ship/cabin: Ship shows her age but is very clean. Wide hallways. Had cabin 9384 balcony on 9th floor. Balcony good size. Cabin always kept clean. A lot of space for clothes. Bed not comfortable. Bathroom good size with walk in shower. Pomenade was fantastic and fun. Flow rider was fun to watch. Elevators slow and crowded especially on formal nights and after shows.
