I have just come back from a trip on Ventura, sail date 13 September 2015 down to the Canary Islands from Southampton and back again.

I have done a lot of cruises with other companies before but I am planning a round the world cruise and P&O go round the world. My mother advised me to do a short cruise with P&O before booking a long one to see what I thought of them. I’m so pleased I did. There is no way on earth I would ever choose to do another cruise with this company.

It started off OK, embarkation was really smooth and my cabin, although small was perfectly adequate. I’d booked late in the day so the best I could get was a balcony cabin which is smaller than I’d usually book but it was perfectly manageable. Read more
