Our 3rd Celebrity cruise, and as with the other two, great food, fantastic service, friendly crew, and NO HASSLES. No hassles is important - I go on vacation to relax, not to be aggravated. Everything runs smoothly on Celebrity, and in the rare instance that there IS a glitch, they've got their act together and solve the problem right away, often without us even having to ask.

We did the "Aqua Class" level, and the Blu dining room alone was worth the difference. Blu was much smaller, more intimate and the food was very good, though the menu selections a couple of nights left us wanting. Thursday I think it was - there were only selections that didn't appeal much - duck, lamb, fish (which I detest! LOL) and some other "exotic" I can't recall. But, I was able to get one of the "everyday" items (New York steak), which was very good, so no real complaint. Breakfast at Blu is very nice...

We ate at each of the 3 specialty restaurants, which were all great. Murano was very, very good, and the (something) "Silk" Asian restaurant was excellent. I didn't have high expectations for Silk (can't recall its exact name, but it's the "(something) Silk") so I was pleasantly surprised by how excellent the food was. The Italian place (don't recall its name and I'm too lazy to look it up!) was good, though in the end, not my favorite of the three. I got a ribeye steak, which was good, but I had hoped it might be a tad more lean than it was.

Cabin Review

Cabin Aqu

A tad smaller than I'd hoped for, and missing a "dressing" area, the cabin worked well for us. TONS of storage space, bins and cubbies. Balconies are larger than many. Room was quiet, other than when the 1st night, they were having the "sail away", which sounded like a stampede of elephants above us for a couple of hours!
