We have been on 6 cruises prior to this one and was somewhat skeptical about taking another Carnival cruise, was on the Splendor out of New York in 2013 and it was such a disappointment, the ship really needed an overhaul form top to bottom. This trip was a last minute decision and decided to go for it, we were pleasantly surprised as to the friendliness and cleanliness of the Pride. Embarking was smooth, our room was ready as soon as we boarded, Lido deck food was good, room clean, shows good, my husband took the behind the scenes tour and was amazed at all that goes on behind the scenes. Carnival is an excellent company to work for, they really take pride in the well being of their staff and strive for 100% satisfaction.

The only comment was the Serenity pool for adults, too few seats and on the second day the pool was less than desirable to swim in, we found comfy seats on the lido deck by the main pool and pretty much hung there on sea days.

The port of Free port really was a big disappointment, we got off walked around the straw market and boarded the ship again, this is one port that they can do without.
