Cabin: Mid-Ship Balcony Stateroom

Let me start of by saying that I have been a loyal Royal Caribbean cruiser. I took Norwegian on a Mediterranean cruise a few years ago and was not pleased at all. So I was skeptical about this one...but my husband and I had a oceanview balcony stateroom and loved it.

All of the following information are PROs

The accommodations were very clean and I was thoroughly impressed with the numerous options for storage in the cabin. That helped a lot! Then let me say that if you did not get a drink package you either need to wait until Norwegian offers a special or just purchase it! All drinks under $11.00 with taxes and gratuities are included. No additional fees unless you went to the Carlos bakery to order coffee, latte, or your drink was over $11.00. I had numerous frozen drinks and glasses of wine and none were over 11.00. We also had the dinner package and the food at all of the specialty restaurants were fabulous...however the complimentary restaurants were great options as well (if you don't want to spend the money)! We love the freestyle dining options. You didn't have to get dressed up unless you wanted too (but no bathing suits or short shorts! :) I purchased the thermal suite spa package and it was fabulous. It was never so crowded that you couldn't enjoy yourself and no children. Totally worth the additional fee. The entertainment options were good and the comedians were funny.
