The showers on this ship were the best we have seen on our eight cruises. The Staff was friendly and helpful and wanted to make the guests happy. Entertainers were Great! End of good stuff. Pool deck - tiny. Outside walkways - tiny. LIfeboat procedures - diaster in the making - no real organization. Decks are so narrow that you need to muster in a lounge and then follow the leader to a lifeboat. Cigarette smoke from the Casino is all over the ship. Noticable odor in stairwells, shops, passageways. Worst thearter we have been in. Balcony seats are the worst. You cannot see the stage from any except the front row. No refrigerator or hair dryers in rooms. Sound system in Public areas was very bad. It was very difficult to understand the announcements because of all the Bass in the audio. Trivia games were fun but the location outside the Casino Smoking Bar was terrible. WE got to the ship early enough that boarding was relatively quick and easy. Less than 30 minutes. Getting off by the Ships schedule was a nightmare. Our luggage tags were number 24 so we had to wait until 1030 to even begin getting off. If we elected the Carry your own option, we were on deck 4 so we would have to wait until 1000 to get off. We had a flight to catch so we were allowed to leave earlier if we carried our bags. We did. It will be a long time before we cruise on Carnival again (if ever). Never on the Paradise again.

Cabin 4E

Small. Just one seat and one footstool. No Refrigerator or hair dryer. No functioning dead bolt lock. Great shower.

Port Reviews

Tampa

We arrived early enough that the boarding process was quick and easy. About 30 minutes from Security check to onboard.

Grand Cayman (Georgetown)

Tendering was the worst we have experienced. Unusually high steps on/off the tender.

Cozumel

Docked at the new docks. Not the Cozumel docks. You miss the real Cozumel if you don't take the $8.00 taxi ride. The new docks have a newer tourist trap. Much nicer when the ship docks in downtown Cozumel.
