The second I stepped onto the ship I was in awe. IT WAS MASSIVE!! With the climbing wall on the back, the surfing thing (which my 17 yr. old brother tried and failed on), the Promenade with Ben & Jerry's, ice skating rink, and much more to offer I was in heaven.

The ship itself is insane! If you are one to not walk around an explore the ports, the ship will keep you entertained all by itself! Although, I did get off at each port, so I don't know for sure what they had going on during the day. At night and at the days at sea, the events were packed with things to do! They had bingo (unfortunately I didn't do), winning prize $4,000!!!! I probably wouldn't have won anyway =0( I HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend to go see "The Air Show." It was in the Theater and all of the performers performed these stunts literally hanging from the ceiling. Very talented bunch in there. The midnight comedy show was HYSTERICAL!!!! I cannot remember his name...something like Jim David maybe. But he was great! The ship and the people who work it are just fantastic! Our steward "Jimbo" was great, and always accessible, and funny! They work so hard, and work so hard to make your vacation a relaxed and pleasant one. If I HAD to complain 3 things: 1) On Carnival ships, their free ice cream is easy accessible. On this ship there was only ONE station, and it rarely worked. When it did work, of course the line was extremely long. 2) The dining room: A LOT OF meat in my opinion. I will compare it to Carnival again (since that is the most I have traveled on). Carnival seems to have new options every night...a new menu every night at dinner. If you would like something from the previous night, they will make it for you! If you wanted an entree as a starter they would do that for you as well. On Liberty, there seemed to be a lot of meat entrees, and every night seemed to be the same thing. My boyfriend asked for an entree as a starter, and they said that was not possible. 3) We had an inside room...it was INSANELY small vs. Carnival. Especially for what you have to pay for it. I understand why too. This ship had 4,000 people on it. While the Carnival ships I have been on have about HALF that amount, so OF COURSE the rooms will be smaller on Liberty to accommodate everyone. For the price you pay, I just thought you would get a bigger room... These 3 complaints...no biggy! Didn't affect my vacation. If the line was long @ the ice cream, I didn't get any...I only got some if there wasn't a long line. THE FOOD WAS STILL OUTSTANDINGLY DELICIOUS, so I did enjoy it! The room, you're only in it to sleep, and get changed.

As far as the ports go we went to Labadee, Haiti / Montego Bay, Jamaica / Cayman Islands / Cozumel Haiti: This is R.C.'s private island, the first beach on the left is the best one! Unfortunately it was too packed, so we went to another, and it was rocky and murky from construction being done. Walk to Dragon's Point: the view is BREATHTAKING!! Jamaica: beach again (what can I say...I'm a beach bum). Instead of taking a taxi back, we took a glass bottom boat for the SAME PRICE as the taxi $5/person. It took us right to the pier where our ship was docked & it was a beautiful ride. We had bad weather in Cayman and Cozumel, so it didn't look to pretty but I've been to both places once before, and they are GREAT! Cayman is beautiful and is known for it's 7 mile beach and good shopping. We just hung out on the beach all day. Cozumel, cheaper shopping and partying! Senor Frogs is there, which is a Mexican restaurant that serves you drinks by the yard and you either leave their with a balloon hat or a huge sombrero. Cozumel is also a GREAT place for your excursions. THEY HAVE EVERYTHING! The 1st time I went there I went 4 wheeling and they brought us through ol' Mayan ruins. It was a blast! This time I tried jet skiing...not my thing. I don't like sharks, and was a lil' nervous. What I do recommend is to try Carlos n' Charlies. They had the jet skiing there + nice beach with music + SAFE Mexican food + an iguana wearing sombrero and shorts too (I held him)!! All in all...a WONDERFUL time. I would definitely take a Royal Caribbean cruise again & recommend it to anyone after my experience...just need to save up...it's a pretty penny for me =0)
