I have never published a review before, but after the reading lots of bad reviews about this ship, I feel I have to share my positive experience.

I have travelled on many cruises in the past but I have found this one to be the best out of them all. The check in process took less than 10 minutes. The entertainment throughout the cruise was good and varied to suit everyone’s tastes from comedians, singers, tribute acts and ice shows to frequent quizzes and bingo sessions. The food was always hot and delicious, both in the windjammer and in the dining room. And the staff were some of the friendliest and most helpful people I have ever met. Our balcony cabin, though smaller than some other ships, still comfortably held three adults (myself, my mother and my daughter) and it was cleaned twice daily. The ship itself was spotlessly clean and well maintained. It also handled rough seas beautifully.

As for the overcrowding mentioned in previous reviews . . . my family and I never really experienced it. We always found a seat around the pool, in all of the bars and in the windjammer. I think the problem with other reviewers is that they sailed during the British school holidays (our captain said we had around six children on our cruise whereas the previous cruise had more than six hundred.) As you can imagine, this amount of extra children would cause overcrowding, but I believe if you book this ship out of the school holidays, you will have an amazing cruise. If you can’t, then I still believe you will have a great cruise. Just expect some overcrowding and get your seats early.
