We decided to try the sunshine as curiosity to see the changes since the Destiny, we were skeptical due to the many reviews but it was a five day sailing and couldn't be a bad way to spend a few days.

We loved the serenity area, while it was crowded, most chairs and clamshells were gone by 9:00. That did not concern us as we are morning people and were by the pool about 6:00. We did see security going by and putting stickers on chairs but never saw them come back to remove any items. The bar service in this area was nothing short of pathetic - this is where your drinkers are, adults section! We could not get a drink one several days, we had to go down to the Tequila bar to get beverages; we were not the only one who commented on this several people we spoke to grouch out the cruise felt the same way. Service on this ship overall was lacking. There was no live music all DJ and very loud!

On our first night we smelled an electrical burn in our cabin - we tried to call the front desk, housekeeping and maintenance and could not get anyone to answer phone. We had to go down to the guest services desk and let them know - they sent up a housekeeper who agreed with us and said he would have someone from guest services call and follow up with us (isn't that where we just were) he was kind and gave us a small fan to help with the smell. He called us back in fifteen minutes and asked if anyone had called us .....NO. we did not hear from anyone until 4:30 the next day - I went down and spoke to the hotel manager and while the cabin was not on fire there is something wrong with the electrical in the cabin. I let the manager know that he did not have a fire but he had a customer service problem.
