Just returned from our second cruise on this ship. we did the Adriatic Explorer The flights etc were fine, only 15 minutes to the port, however we did have some issues on the ship itself. The first being the smell of sewage and diesel in our roo, not a good start, I did mention this to our room service and I invited her to come and enjoy the same experience, she then offered to get a spray to mask the smell, hmm that didn't do the trick, anyway it didn't get better and we had a daily battle with the toilet to get it to flush. I went to reception and had to get it fixed a couple of times, the second occasion wasn't dealt with and we returned to our room after a day out only to find it was still not working, the air freshener was now indeed required. another trip to reception was needed.

We pre booked some trips on line, one was a evening excursion, we found that this trip was cancelled on arrive because the ship sailed before we were due back, the staff on board new this!! come on Thomson sort it out why offer this if you cant provided it, The food was as good as I can remember the staff all very helpful and happy , the singing in the restaurant a good touch.

On to the entertainment, we spent most of the evening watching the shows in the Jubilee lounge, the band were just as good as I remember, however the show team were not, they worked hard, but in my opinion were not in the same league as my previous cruise on this ship. The highlight was the guest entertainer Steve, he just had the room rocking , well done it was worth the wait, He did Three shows the last, a bit on the late side but the place was packed out to the end.
