After many years of traveling this was our first experience of mainland Europe. I feel we selected the correct way to take in the culture and scenery of the countries we visited. After taking coach tours previously getting on the ship and unpacking once in the 2 weeks was a pleasure. The scenery along the Rhine, Main and Danube rivers was spectacular and ever changing, the books supplied by Viking give a kilometer by kilometer description of the sights you are viewing. The daily tours in the towns and cities along the route were all very informative.

The staff on the ship were ALWAYS very helpful and friendly, the food was excellent and plentiful. If you were not feeling like any of the entries on the menu they would make you an alternate of your choice.

The ship itself was beautiful and everything was convenient, being on a small ship versus an ocean liner you get to know more of the other passengers

French Balcony

Cabin D

A little tight but we didn't spend a lot of time in the cabin. Spent most of the day and evening in the beautiful public areas.
