This was my first cruise. It was my friends 7th. We drove from Dallas to Galveston prior day and stayed at the Gaidos Hotel. An older hotel but has a great pool. Hotel bar was nice and food was just OK. WiFi didn't work. The hotel offered for us to park car in their courtyard during our trip free. Took Taxi to ship.

We purchased the $50 Faster to Fun package, which was totally worth it! Anyone that gets a chance to get this option should definitely get.

Cabin was clean and our Steward was wonderful! The cabin was a little snug, especially for two women trying to get dressed at the same time. There was a useless sofa in our room which took up room. Would have been better had they put two chairs with small table instead. I did not like the fact they offer for you to purchase 12pk water but no refrigerator to keep it cold. Never found the ice machines.

Balcony

Cabin 8A

Balcony was nice, a little crowded with 5 chairs. Beds were small, twin size. Lots of storage. Nice size bath. Clean. Nice linens, towels and bathrobes. There was a useless sofa in our room which took up too much room. 2 Chairs and a table would have been better used and left some room to move around.
