I had some reservations on booking on Norwegian and the Dawn, especially after reading some of the reviews. I am glad I disregarded the bad reviews. Both my wife and I rated this cruise one of our favorites. If it had not been for her luggage being lost by the airline, (how those idiots lost her bag and managed to deliver mine to the ship before leaving is beyond me), it would have rated probably number two.

Embarkation - it was easy - due to the fact we were there about 1 1/2 hours before leaving Miami. Going up and than down to get the keys was a bit strange, but not bad. We were on the ship in about 15 minutes, including the receptionist taking our information for the lost luggage.

Cabin - wow, were we surprised. It was quite a bit larger than we expected. We booked an outside guarantee and we were surprised how nice the cabin was. It was shown as a obstructed view, but the lifeboat was below us and did not block the large picture window. The cabin was probably designed for a handicapped person, with made the bathroom quite large.
