Having read a number of less than positive reviews about Carribbean Princess I was very pleasantly surprised. While looking a little tired in places overall we found her in pretty good shape. We were in a Window Suite on deck 6 and enjoyed the space and suite extras such as breakfast at Sabbatini's. Embarkation went smoothly and our room was ready when we boarded. Our cabin attendant while we did not see a lot of him did all that was needed.

This cruise the focus was really on the ports and they lived up to expectations. We used TJ Travel for our 2 day tour in St Petersberg and they were excellent. We also did tours in Helsinki and Tallin with them and also excellent there. Princess give the impression on their website that doing a tour with anyone other than them is not a good idea. Totally disagree as our experience was very positive.

We did not go to many of the shows but the ones we did were enjoyable. Food good though we avoided the buffet not because of the food but the lack of space to sit down.

Window Suite

Cabin S7

Great to have the space and perks. Bathroom with a separate shower a bonus.

Port Reviews

Copenhagen

Took the shuttle into Copenhagen which was a bit pricey. Wandered around and took a canal cruise which was good. If we had known the Hop on Hop off bus picked up and dropped off to the ship and we would have used that.

Stockholm

Vasa Museum really interesting and could have used more time there.

Helsinki

Excellent tour. There were just 4 of us and a really good guide.

St. Petersburg

2 day comprehensive tour. Long days, luchs good. Really worthwhile as saw a lot.

Tallinn

Nice tour that was mainly walking and then free time. Lovely place.
