My wife & I recently completed the 7 night Alaska cruise aboard the Ruby Princess. We had such high hopes for this ship/line, however there were several issues that had occurred that caused us to feel disappointed, for example; from the onset of the cruise the toilet was not operating, & the maintenance crew could not correct this matter. There were signs posted on the public restrooms, asking guests to use their cabin restrooms if at all possible, but in our case it was necessary. Another issue was the attitudes of some the Princess Crew, & that includes "Officers" that were curt, & unfriendly. This trip was a bucket list item for the both of us, & the ports were lovely, it was a shame that the ship didn't live up to the standards that are expected of such a lovely liner.
