Although not experienced cruisers, this is our 2nd, we did expect a whole lot more from the Britannia. Certainly not a 5 star experience and did not meet our expectation, let alone exceed it.

Considering time on board was limited, I would have expected the embarkation process to be sleek and efficient, not so! Long queues, slow staff and more queues.

Expected a wow factor for such a new and large ship, but bigger is definitely not better. No central staircase and confusing to have to go up to come down. Quite small atrium, some nice bars, Crows Nest and Glass House and Blue Bar.

Cabin Review

Cabin Inside

Quite small with double bed and two bunks above our heads (good job there was only two of us) could only really stay in this room for a few nights as would be quite claustrophobic. Bed was very comfy and bathroom compact but good shower.

Bathroom toiletries were not replaced and only had one shampoo for two people for two nights. Complimentary water was not replaced either.

Southampton

Too much queuing
