This was our 4th river cruise with Viking and we think it was the best. It covered a long route with many fascinating places to visit along the way. We were very grateful to have the option of 'leisure' trips ashore, partly because of my husband's age and partly because I had recently been diagnosed with osteo-arthritis in my hip.

The crew, as usual were excellent. I can't think why anyone would complain about the food. Yes the portions are probably smaller than what some of our transatlantic cousins are used to - but that suits us very well.

I remember on our first Viking cruise we wondered how on earth we would fit everything that we had brought, into our cabin. The excellent design solved that problem, but I'm still not convinced of the necessity of a fridge.
