I am originally from Trinidad and Tobago and my wife is from Palo Alto, California. We live in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. This was our first trip with Viking and most of the cities/places we visited is on my bucket list. We did the pre-cruise in Prague and continued on from Nuremberg through Regensburg, Passau, Melk, Vienna,to Budapest. Traveling through so many beautiful towns and sights on the way along with the visiting all these cities was breathtaking and very informative. Living and partying with the other travelers on the ship was one we would never forget. We have made so many friends from various places and we have kept in touch with many of them. The friendly and efficient staff along with the informal atmosphere will always be remembered. Port and shore excursions were very well organized and informative. We'd like to do a river cruise again with Viking but another destination. Viking did a wonderful job of booking my Flight Itinerary to and from Europe with a stopover in England.

Port Reviews

Nuremberg

This part of Europe is so rich in Culture and History. Our ease of embarkation/dis-embarkation was very much appreciated. Our Tour guides/historians were very accommodating and informative. Places of interest as selected by Viking were wonderful and worth seeing.

Regensburg

Traveling up the Danube narrows to the old Benedictine Abbey was worth it.

Melk

Very informative and beautiful. The beer was especially great.

Budapest

Very enjoyable. Wonderful photography.
