Our 15 day Viking River Cruise was both a joy and a heartbreak. The trip was unfortunately hit by the failure of one of the main engines. We were told about this breakdown the first day. We were kept appraised of the problem and the corrective action plan on a daily basis.
The plan was to have the trip proceed as normal for the first ten days and then we would all leave the boat and proceed the last five days on land.
