Paris and the Heart of Normandy was our first river cruise and we absolutely loved it. We were celebrating my having survived some physical challenges and we were more than pleased with our experience. The Spirit is a wonderful ship and we had a comfortable cabin. The crew was professional while being both fun and helpful. I loved how the chef gave a little description of each evening meal, and speaking of meals, they were very good and tasty. The lectures were informative and interesting. All the shore excursions were wonderful but I especially enjoyed Giverny and Monet's gardens. The beaches at Normandy was a very moving shore excursion. A highlight of the cruise for me was the entertainment. Tibor was on board singing and playing the piano and I and every one on board loved him. I'm a photographer and loved shooting the shore scenes as the ship cruised along. I'd do this cruise again but we've booked another cruise. i highly recommend this cruise.
