Having been on ocean cruises, this was by far the most enjoyable. Our suite gave us the ability to be able to sit on the veranda or sit in the living room and really enjoy being on the ship in our rooms.The Activity Director certainly had his work well planned and made the shore excursions very enjoyable and informative. It was so nice to have every passenger able to sit down at the same time to enjoy dinner In the dining room. Th/de on ship entertainment was very enjoyable and of great interest as to what location we were in so we had a little experience of their culture. The fact that there were off ship events planned each day made the trip so very enjoyable and we got an idea of just how the area was. Having spent pre days in Amsterdam really gave us an idea of life in that city. In hind sight was wishing we had spent extra days in Budapest also.

Our onboard experience with the personnel was beyond expectations with the exception of the concierge and it seemed like he was new to the job and was uncertain about things off ship and he was very hard to understand. I have been extolling the trip to everyone who asks about my adventure. Currently I am planning a trip to Australia and New Zealand in Nov. of 2016 and will be looking to see if Viking offers anything we might be able to take advantage of.
