The hotel in Paris was very good, not great. It was very close to the Champs Elysees so touring around before the start of the planned tour was very easy and good.

The Tour in Paris, like the other cities, was excellent. Using tour guides from the places you are visiting is great. You get good information from locals, not what is printed by somebody for another talking head to repeat.

The use of head sets and a dedicated wireless channel was a great idea. You don't get 'duelling tour guides' yelling over each other or not being able to hear what is being said. Read more
