We did two Viking river cruises back to back (Elegant Elbe and the Rhine) Both cruises were great. The ships and staff were very accomadating. We really enjoyed the excursions as this was our first river cruises, very educational.The food was not lacking in any way. Both ships were very nice, we enjoyed the smaller ship on the Elbe river.

What we didn't enjoy was the airline booking that Viking provided. It was the milk run both ways. We booked these cruises over a year ago. With all the none stop flights from Seattle to Europe we had to make two stops getting to Berlin. Coming home we had to make two stops back to Seattle. The problem was that fellow passengers with Viking Air were booked nonstop back to Seattle.
