After a superb cruise on Celebrity Reflection last year to the Eastern Med we were looking forward to the same high standard on the Eclipse. Sadly it wasn't to be. Some of our meals and the meals of others at our table (main restaurant) were not good, - meat tough, fish dry, sauces too salty. Tea in the Coffee Shop was lukewarm. Also at breakfast in the main restaurant staff brought cups and saucers without teaspoons so we were looking around at empty tables for them - I even witness one elderly gentleman eating his porridge with a fork because he didn't have a spoon to eat it with!!! Surely the staff could make sure diners had the correct cutlery. Several of the acts on the theatre were very good, however a couple like the Beatles tribute band were awful and the guy doing card tricks did more talking than card tricks.

We've not been on many cruises so I can only make my comparison against the Reflection were all our meals were excellent as were the shows.
