Me and my boyfriend took a Carnival Cruise (Pride) leaving from Baltimore in August 2015. I absolutely loved the trip and we had amazing weather! This is the second cruise I've ever been on.

Ship:

The Pride was smaller than the last cruise I went on (Princess Cruiselines), so I was a little nervous I would feel rocking. We took a week-long cruise and I never felt the ship swaying until the final day when the ocean was a little choppy. I did not have to wear my sea-bands or take any motion sickness medicine, so I was pleasantly surprised. The ship was very clean and had a lot to offer it's guests. The only negative thing was that you can feel the ship's engines vibrating. I heard that it got worse when the ship was updated for environmental purposes, but there were some nights in the dining hall when I had to hold my drink down because it was shaking so heavily. Took a couple days to get rid of that feeling after I disembarked the ship as well.

Extended Balcony

Cabin 8J

Clean, quiet, perfect location on the ship. Highly recommend this cabin!!

Port Reviews

Baltimore

Embarkation was in Baltimore, MD. I am from MD so this port was extremely convenient and we quickly moved onto the ship. We were dropped off and picked up by family, so we incurred no costs to park for the week.

Half Moon Cay

Most amazing island I've ever been to, or seen. Water was crystal clear, no waves and sunny all day! I could live on this island :)

Free lunch was provided on the island by Carnival as well!
