This was my 1st cruise. Little unsure about leading upto it not knowing what to expect but Anthem of the seas didn't disappoint. Beautiful ship, our room was spacious. We had an inside cabin which had a feature effect TV linked to outside so you didn't feel penned in. Staff really friendly and helpful. Spectra's cabaret was a brilliant show. Saw it twice. The feedback I would give it the wind jammer restaurant which was the main buffet area included in the price had the same choices every night. We tried a couple of the other restaurants but they were all full most of the time. Being new to cruises we didn't book them as soon as we got on the ship which was our mistake. The shops were really expensive not for a 'normal' working persons audience you would need to earn a pretty penny to buy things. There was an air of bordem towards the end of the cruise at night when we were at sea as it was the same night in night out. Overall I enjoyed the holiday and although there were some downfalls with the ship I think it was a good start to cruise life. I will make a cruise my holiday choice moving forward and look forward to experiencing new ships.

St. Peter Port (Guernsey)

Lovely place. Very scenic not good for anyone with walking or breathing difficulties (very hilly) also be mindful it is the lifeboat service to shore.
