Had very high expectations for our cruise as RCI hypes up their service. Upon getting our luggage at the room, it was soaking wet from being left out in the rain storm while loading. They did take our clothing to laundry Sunday evening after much discussions with customer service only to not get it back until Tuesday evening.
Fire broke out on Wednesday morning causing us to miss the shore excursion we had planned. After the fire the smell of mildew and smoke continued for the rest of the cruise on our deck level and below. The flow rider and night club were closed some or all of the remainder of week. RCI is offering us a 20% discount for our trouble which you or anyone else can get at any time of the year. Also others whom did not endure all the same troubles we did are getting same offer. Carnival however just encountered a fire on Liberty and is giving ALL passengers full refund, $150.00 credit, and a 50% discount on future cruise. I believe I will move my business entirely to Carnival where the customer means more than the mighty dollar.
Cabin was small for the 4 of us , but this was expected. I only can afford what I can afford.
