This was my 9th cruise with Royal Caribbean and first on the Freedom of the Seas. I have always given 5 stars until now. The service was very good but we were disappointed with the quality of the dining room meals. When it came to the night that lobster is served you got a very small tail that was cut in half lengthwise and it was over cooked and tough. The price of the drinks have gone through the roof. A simple frozen drink is $12 plus 18% gratuity which makes it around $14. So I drank wine at $9 a glass and very few of those.

Our room was nice as well as the room attendant. As usual we enjoyed the ice show and the production numbers in the theater. We did book an open end cruise for a later date but our next cruise will be on Celebrity. I will have to think about using the one we put a deposit on. Sorry RCCL, but you are slipping in some areas to save money.

Small, but we don't mind we aren't in there that much. Room attendant was very good and the room was clean.
