After three cruises with disney, and our son almost 12, we decided to branch out to royal caribbean. what a mistake!

It was only an hour to the port from our home. port parking was easy, but the checkin was maddening. we had a "priority checkin" pass, and the person i showed it to looked at me like i was scum and told me they weren't using it. i then heard her say to another person trying to handle the crowds that if anyone else tried to use them to burn the pass.

The food was mediocre most of the time. the food in the windjammer buffet was just below the level of golden corral. service was hit and miss.

Cabin Review

Oceanview Stateroom

Small, cramped.

Third bed for child dropped down from the ceiling right over another bed! What happened to the pullout couch we were promised?

Liked the split bathrooms on the Disney Cruises better.

Port Reviews

Boston

Walked 30 minutes to Boston Aquarium. Had a great day.

Getting back on the boat took 45 minutes, while for some took 3 hours

Portland (Maine)

booked our own kayak tour with Portland Paddle. They were excellent. Then walked to Liquid Riot for lobster rolls and their own distilled Vodka!
