Our first trip to Alaska. Total of eight people in our group. Overall trip was so-so. Purchased Faster to the Fun which was the only real bright part of the cruise. In Skagway went on White Pass RR excursion. Train involved in an accident. I was injured. Train personnel were no help whatsoever even after being asked. Reported to Carnival and got our excursion money back but that's it. Expected Carnival and White Pass RR to offer more support and outreach.

Had an "extended balcony" which can't really say was worth the extra money. Food was good and lots of it. Our dinner waiter "Yordan" definitely got 5 stars. Surprisingly lots of kids on the cruise. During evening hours they were running amok on the Lido Deck. Security followed them around. Attended one show......musical. Rock music was good but performance was not very entertaining. Easy disembarkation, again because of Faster to the Fun. You are also faster to get off. Easy luggage retrieval. Sent Carnival a negative review of the cruise. They were not very receptive to my review.

Cabin Review

Aft-View Extended Balcony

Cabin 8N

Waste of money having an "extended view" balcony. Cabin was average with other cruises we've taken.

Port Reviews

Victoria

Nothing close and very little time.

Juneau

Too touristy.

Seattle

Purchased Faster to the Fun.....definitely worth it.
