My husband and I were met at the airport by Viking staff who made us feel welcomed and let us know we would be on our way to the ship very soon. We arrived at the Viking Njord with many smiles and the staff were ready to serve us. Our room was ready and we got to unpack and begin to feel at home. Our cabin was exquisite!

We enjoyed each excursion. One thing with Viking is the excursions are included in the price. There are some that are not but for the majority they are part of the package. We particularly enjoyed the trip to Budapest. Our guide was excellent and very informative. We purchased paprika. We will enjoy it for a while to come. Another excursion was Vienna. It was very interesting. The Lipizzaner horses were a real treat. They do carriage rides around the city using these brilliant horses. Our last excursion was in Nuremberg. Seeing where the rally's celebrating Hitler took place, the museum at the registration hall which told the story of WWII. It was very depressing but everyone should see it. We also saw the courtroom where the Nuremberg trials were held. Very informative excursion.

We headed home at the end of the cruise. We really would have liked to repeat it again. The crew, staff and guest were so wonderful we WILL do another Viking cruise.
