Boat held around 2,500 passengers.....easy to get around....ate mostly in formal dining room....food was fabulous.....had a balcony room for the first time, boy, did we get spoiled! Now my husband wants only balcony rooms in the future! We will definitely take alaska cruise again. Enjoyed all the ports....our whale watching excursion in juneau was exceptional .....our train ride to the yukon from skagway, not so much. We thoroughly enjoyed the lumberjack show in ketchikan as well as the totem pole museum. Had a great walk through a rainforest in icy strait point....want to go back to explore the town next time.

We had such a lovely cabin with a bottle of champagne waiting for us in a bucket of ice. There was fresh fruit everyday....apples, oranges and pears. Canapés were delivered late in the afternoon. A piece of chocolate candy was on our pillow every evening and sometimes we got a towel in the shape of a bunny. But, all of those lovely things don't mean a thing if someone enters your room while you are at dinner the last night and steals your i-phone. 4 men from security checked our room, my husband filled out a report 4 pages long and they told us that we'd be hearing from them in a few days. That was 2 weeks ago. If you go on this cruise, have a wonderful time, but use the safe!!!! I am a flight attendant and i have been on about 10 cruises. After all the thousands of nights that i have spent in hoteis, i have never had anything stolen.
