We have cruised before on Holland America which we found to be exactly to our taste, however the price of this cruise to Singapore was a little too good to be true - and we all know that you only get what you pay for. In saying this, the water was calm with perfect weather every day and interesting places to see on the way. Following the Aussie Coast was great and the views were terrific.

Now for some of the bad things....empty hand sanitizers in almost every section of the boat, unsupervised children running through dining areas (and other places), the LOUDEST cruise director on the high seas (LITERALLY), very unorganised tenders, cold plastic plates (big enough to hold four meals), the toughest meat EVER, the coldest of hot food, lack of choices in buffet, the exorbitant prices of most things purchased, the incessant vibration which was noticed more so when your head hit the pillow, the rattling air con ducts in the cabin (and we had a suite). These were but a few.

On the good side, serious mention must be made of the lovely cabin stewards (especially on Deck 6) and the happiest little lady who made our capuccinos every day at the Coffee Shop on the Lido Deck - she was an absolute joy. The Staff doing the cleaning etc were the hardest working happiest of people.

Ocean Suite

Cabin OS

Cabin 6197 - no problems apart from rattling air con ducts above the bed and vibration which gave us headaches when resting. Everything else was fine - good space but maybe a bit less than we thought

Port Reviews

Singapore

We took no excursions but stayed in this beautiful place for a week - and it was not long enough! We want to go back in the future to continue our exploring. There are so many sights and things to do and the people are very welcoming and friendly.

Love Love Love Singapore
