Our cruise was excellent as it met all our expectations - beautiful ship, great service, wonderful meals and plenty of things to do on board. This is a big ship with long hallways and lots of stairs. The sooner you figure out the short cuts and closest elevators the less time you'll spend getting from one place to another. We purchased a balcony suite. If this meets your budget, you will enjoy your trip that much more. We felt our value for money was achieved. The only drawback was the rather pricey cost for internet, which was intermittent at times.

The only item that needs to be highlighted is the high cost of the shore excursions. If you are on a budget, save your money for St. Petersburg, Russia. The places seen were amazing. Do not purchase the ballet package. The B team performs in a "Soviet" era theatre. The A team is on tour. With the exception of the Berlin excursion, you can save money by doing your own walking tour of the ports of call with a local map. As for the Berlin excursion, it was expensive and a 6 hour, round trip train ride with no air conditioning or WIFI. The highlights are Check Point Charlie and the Berlin Wall. If you are undecided, save your money for St. Petersburg. We would highly recommend this cruise to family and friends.
