Cabin: Deluxe Ocean View Stateroom with Balcony

My sister and I recently did an Alaska cruise on Royal Caribbean's Jewel of the Seas. I was part of a group that was having a genealogy conference on board, so I got a great group rate with an upgrade to a deluxe ocean view room with a balcony. I'll try to make a list of the things we enjoyed about it:

Pros

1. We were amazed at how efficiently 2000 people were moved on and off the ship. Yes, there was a traffic jam at the elevator on the way in, and it was hard to find a space to sit down for lunch in Windjammer, but overall it was pretty impressive.

Cabin Review

Deluxe Ocean View Stateroom with Balcony

Cabin E1

The cabin was excellent -- spacious and well appointed. We had plenty of room for two people, and we particularly loved the balcony.

Port Reviews

Seattle

What can I say? Seattle is great. We stayed at the Palladian Hotel, a very nice boutique hotel with an excellent restaurant.
