Cabin: Aft-Facing Balcony

Husband, Bob and I took this cruise simply to be on the ship. This is our fifth cruise and our third visit to Bermuda (flew other two times). Our amazing travel agent offered an upgrade at a cost, to an aft balcony suite, which we took. The suite alone was worth the cost of the upgrade as I was able to read while my husband slept and, because it was an aft suite, we had a delightful view of the island while docked, not to mention sun sets and dolphins, even!

The upgrade came with butler service--totally unnecessary for us. But it also came with early disembarkment and special restaurant privileges which we were happy to have. There were also perks which did not interest us but might be attractive to others: champagne with the captain, another event with senior officers, wine and cheese event...

We were most content to spend our time in our cabin/balcony and we're pleased with housekeeping and all the cabin offered--mini fridge, coffee maker, ample closet/storage space, safe, delightfully comfortable bed, and more.

Cabin Review

Aft-Facing Balcony

Cabin B1

Cabin was great--a virtual floating hotel room ! Loved the mini-fridge and coffee maker. We always cruise with a balcony but this was our first suite. It was worth every dollar especially since we cruised mainly to enjoy the ocean. Aft is the absolute best place to be. We saw both sunsets and sunrises and while docked had a nice view of the island. Closet space/storage is amazing. Cabin was clean and showed no sign of wear and tear.
